Sunnyvale Ranch: Mid-Century Minimalist Rebirth

The Transformation We reimagined a dated 1960s ranch house into a luminous, modern sanctuary. By joining the project during the architectural phase, we successfully reshaped the home’s flow, turning structural constraints into design statements.

Architectural Highlights

  • The Gallery Entrance: Voided the second-floor area to create a double-height staircase bathed in natural light and anchored by a sculptural chandelier.

  • The Walnut Kitchen: A high-function layout featuring deep walnut cabinetry paired with airy, light-toned surfaces for a timeless Mid-Century feel.

  • Sculptural Baths: Guest baths feature tactile 3D tiling, while the primary ensuite utilizes a graphic black-and-white palette and a strategic skylight to create a dramatic, spa-like focal point.

The Result A high-fidelity execution of minimalist luxury—where light, wood, and geometry create a seamless living experience.
